Welcome to the Fest4You blog - for the latest news from the UK and International Festival World

The UK music festival scene is facing a challenging period, this year has seen an unprecedented number of festival cancellations. According to the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF), around 50 festivals have been cancelled, postponed, or shut down entirely. One of our favorites, WeyFest in Surrey looks as if it's no longer going to operate which is very sad news.  The lingering effects of international conflict, Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic have created a complex financial situation, leading to a credit crunch that has hit the indie festival circuit particularly hard. Rising production costs and inflation have made it difficult for festivals to cover their expenses with ticket sales alone.

On a brighter note, festivals are evolving to offer more than just music. Many events now include a variety of activities such as wellness workshops, art installations, and culinary experiences. This diversification helps attract a broader audience and provides festival-goers with a richer, more immersive experience, and this is where we can help!
